Art Reproduction Service
The sad state of the global economy has had a serious effect on art sales in
general. With less disposable income, collectors are looking for more affordable
ways of building an art collection. As artists struggle to find new markets they
must continuously be on the lookout for new ways of attracting buyers. One such
opportunity lies in the printing and marketing of a range of limited edition
fine art prints. The direct benefit to the artist is that, once the original has
been sold, additional income can be earned from the print reproductions! In fact
some artists become so emotionally attached to their work that they are
sometimes reluctant to sell it.
Instead of trying to faithfully duplicate the original, the artist can create
a body of work with its own unique appearance. Professionally printed on fine
art cotton paper, using archival pigment inks, the reproduction has a tactile
and "original" feel which reinforces the concept of quality!
Using state of the art cameras and printers, I photograph artists work and
produce either a single or limited edition of the work. All work is sensitively
and professionally done in my own studio.
I believe that an artist need to see one of their own work reproduced as a
fine art print. With this in mind, I offer a complimentary session where I
photograph the work and provide a finished print.
I would be happy to meet the artist and discuss this custom service.
